Super Bowl Super Food

I was born in Texas and grew up loving football.  As a mother though, I haven't had as much time to put into keeping up with professional teams and players and stats and such, but I love to watch a good game!

Super Bowl Sunday though means more then just football....it is about FOOD!

This year our plans for the big game were to be very lazy.  After a crazy month with Wildtree I had some work to catch up on and I was way behind on my class lectures.

I couldn't let the opportunity pass to come up with a great Wildtree appetizer.  One of the Wildtree Team Leaders posted a recipe on FB for crab dip that she found online.  I decided to "Wildtree-it" and come up with a healthier version.

Here is how it turned out....

and the recipe....

1/2 pound of lump crab (for ease I used canned)
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp Wildtree Absolutely Onion
2 tbsp Wildtree Garlic Galore
2 tsp Worcester Sauce
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Wildtree Cajun seasoning

1.Preheat oven to 325
2. Mix all ingredients and put in casserole dish.

3. Bake for 20-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly brown.

It was awesome and the perfect thing to snack on while making dinner.

I hope you enjoyed the game....or at least the half time show!
